Michael grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida and attended Pinellas County schools before attending college and moving to Hollywood to pursue his acting career. Michael has always considered St. Petersburg home even though his work required him to live in Los Angeles. His connection to the Tampa Bay area is why it is so important to Michael to provide this opportunity to others in the Tampa Bay area who share his passion for the arts.

As a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Michael Milhoan has worked alongside a number of famous names: Robert Duval, Gene Hackman, Renee Russo, Denzel Washington, Kevin Costner, Halle Berry, John Travolta, Kurt Russell and many others. His 26-year acting career spans numerous film and television productions; including Spirit, Tin cup, Phenomenon, Field of Dreams, Coach and House.

Michael studied for seven years under the personal direction of famed acting coach Milton Katselas. Under Mr. Katselas' watchful eye, Michael was trained in intensive scene-study classes as an actor and as a director. Michael was taught to “train each actor in real-person-real-place, behavior-oriented, moment-to-moment acting work in the tradition of the great American actors.”

Michael teaches Intro to Scene-study Acting (Adult Beginners), Experienced Actors, and Teen Theatre. He also coaches privately, runs the Saturday Master Class, and oversees all of the training offered at Zero Gravity Film & Television Academy.
